Pandora - Discover New Music

Pandora

Pandora is a website that you create a radio station of music you like. All you need to start your radio station is a song or two that you like. It will then select songs that have the same qualities as those songs. You rate each song when it plays, either a thumbs down, or a thumbs up. If you thumbs up a song it will adjust your online radio station to play more songs like it. If you thumbs down a song then it will tend to not play similar songs. Each song goes through a process where professional musicians analyze the song and give it qualities (heavy bass, fast beat, hard rock roots ect.) Each song takes about 30 minutes to analyze and often they have 2 musicians listen to it for authenticity.
